bonnaroo has announced the artists, my friends.
it’s here!
i’m into it. this lineup is pretty decent, as far as i’m concerned. not incredible, but pretty rockin’ nonetheless. i was thinking about going before it was announced.. just for the hippie’d out tree-hugging festival aspect of it, but now i’m on top of it. pearl jam headlined lollapalooza last year, and it was totally epic. throw in b.b. king, phil lesh, kanye, ben folds, robert randolph and some killer electric slide guitar, lupe fiasco, iron & wine, talib kweli, and janeane garofalo in the comedy tent.. and that’s good enough for me. for serious.
tickets go on sale next saturday, the 16th. it’s 209 with a 22.50 charge for something undefined. it’s kind of a bust that it’s gone up a good $40 since the last time i bought one, but it’s pretty worth it. it’s the champion of “everything is free love, and stay away from the freaks come out at night” festivals. so, with that in mind.. prepare accordingly i guess. road trip! i’m going, it’s for sure.
